Lava today announced the launch of Iris Pro 20 in the country expanding its Iris Pro series of smartphones. Iris Pro 20 comes with a 4.7 inch qHD display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on 1GB of RAM.
Although, Lava has included a quad-core processor in the Iris Pro 20, the smartphone will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Lava has not said anything about KitKat update.
“With the tremendous response that we received after the launch of Iris Pro 30, we are now launching another product in this series to address similar needs at a different price point. The premiumness of Iris Pro 20 extends itself beautifully from Iris Pro 30 and we believe that the product will deliver an unmatched experience to consumers who want a combination of exquisite beauty and unmatched functionality,” said Hari Om Rai, Chairman and Managing Director, Lava International Ltd.
Iris Pro 20 has got 4GB of internal storage and dual-SIM support. It supports 3G on one regular size SIM and one micro SIM. Iris Pro 20 has a 8MP camera coupled with a dual LED flash and has a VGA front facing. A 2000 mAh battery fuels the Iris Pro 20 to give talktime of upto 7.5 hours.
Lava has priced the smartphone at INR 13,999 and will be available soon.
